I've been doing some serious thinking, folks. It's no big secret that I don't get here as often as I should. Quite honestly, lately I have found myself looking forward to reading other library blogs more than posting to my own, and that has to be some sort of sign. Thing is, many others have the world of librariana covered much better (and more timely) than I do, so you won't likely miss my infrequent, behind-the-8-ball posts too much.

I'm not hanging it up though, not yet. Instead I'm retooling. Shifting focus. And probably redesigning (again). You see, what I have in mind is something a bit more in-depth. I've been trying to do a lot less newsy library reading ("hey look, they made an action figure for librarians!") and a lot more research-based reading, so the plan is to read an article a week and post my thoughts about that article here. I'll need to redesign for this because I don't think this format will work for what I have in mind. And also because I'm a design slut, you know I am.

And I'm not changing the name because I just forked over the $20 to register bibliolatry.net a few months ago, dammit. I'll be back soon with all kinds of brand-spanking-newness, but until then, track my movements here if you like. Need to get in touch? I'm reachable.
