We stayed at a little auberge called Pierre du Calvet. It's the oldest inhabited residence in Montreal, built in 1725. Benjamin Franklin stayed here on more than one occasion, and if you'd like to read about that and more, go
here. It was small, comfortable, and quirky, with a nice little library that had some interesting old volumes and some stodgy art. We took a lot of pictures of the place because we spent a lot of time here, relaxing, reading, napping. It was good.
