The New York Public Library. NYPL (that's "nipple") for short. Two great exhibits here - one on Russia during the 19th and early 20th Centuries (note the banner) and the other on photographs and prints from during the Depression. Apart from that, nypl is a good place to spend lots of time, and not just if you're a librarian.
